Before installing the FRP water tank, we need to do some preparation work. The following are the specific preparation steps:
1-Clear installation location:
For the installation location of the water tank, it is necessary to ensure that the sewage outlet is convenient for drainage operation,
especially for the special case of fire water tanks.
The hot water tank should be as close to the water point and the main unit as possible to minimize the heat loss of the pipeline and ensure the full utilization of heat energy.
In the floor project, considering the load-bearing factor, the water tank should be placed securely on the load-bearing beam.
For water tanks weighing more than 5 tons, it is necessary to request the customer to make a special load-bearing foundation,
and the load-bearing capacity of the foundation should be at least twice the full load weight of the water tank to ensure safety.
When the water tank is large or the floor is wide, it is recommended to divide the water tank and place it on multiple load-bearing
beams to ensure that each load-bearing beam is evenly stressed. At the same time,
follow the principle that the weight of a single round water tank does not exceed 10 tons and the weight of a square water tank
does not exceed 20 tons to prevent safety hazards caused by uneven load-bearing.
If the water tank needs to be installed on the roof, special attention should be paid to avoid the mirror reflection of the stainless steel surface from
interfering with or affecting the surrounding environment. Appropriate measures can be taken to reduce the reflective effect.
2- Foundation preparation:
Accurately make the concrete foundation according to the construction requirements to ensure that the foundation surface is flat and without ups and downs,
and the error is strictly controlled within ±0.5cm to ensure that the water tank is placed stably.
Before placing the water tank on the floor, the area should be thoroughly cleaned, and all sharp objects and sharp corners that may scratch or damage the water tank
should be removed to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the installation environment.
Water tank component inspection:
Before installation, it is necessary to carefully check whether the key parts of the water tank such as the water inlet and outlet, sewage hole, and drainage hole are intact,
without cracks or damage.
Check whether all water tank plates, sealing strips, bolts and other accessories are complete, and ensure that their specifications meet the design requirements to ensure
the sealing and structural strength of the water tank.
3-Formulate safety measures:
Develop a detailed construction safety plan to ensure that a sufficient safety distance is maintained from the water tank during welding and other
operations to prevent sparks from splashing and causing damage to the water tank.
Set up obvious safety warning signs around the construction site and reserve sufficient working space to avoid injuries such as splashing debris during construction.
4--Pipeline pre-installation:
Arrange the inlet and outlet pipes in advance according to the design drawings to ensure that the pipe interface matches the water tank
interface to achieve seamless docking.
Prepare necessary pipe accessories, such as filters, to ensure the integrity and functionality of the pipe system.
Support and fixation preparation:
* Prepare an appropriate amount of fixing materials such as expansion bolts or cement to firmly fix the water tank in the
predetermined position to prevent the water tank from shifting or shaking.
5-Reserve maintenance channel:
When planning the installation location, the convenience of future maintenance and maintenance should be fully considered,
and sufficient maintenance channels should be reserved to facilitate daily inspection, maintenance and cleaning of the water tank.
Through the above detailed preparations, we can lay a solid foundation for the successful installation of the FRP water tank,
ensure its optimal performance during use, and ensure its long-term stable operation.
