What is no standing water top cover for GRP water tank?

The “no standing water top cover” design for GRP water tanks is about the top roof cover. It stops rainwater from staying on top of a GRP sectional water tank. This design is mainly for outdoor use. Outside, there is rain and snow, and in cold weather the water can freeze, expand,  So curved or sloped covers, sealed edges, and drainage are used. The main goal is to let water drain away quickly.

Cost difference of no & standing water GRP water tank?

The price of a no-standing-water top cover is different from a top cover that lets water sit on it. Usually, the no-standing-water type costs more. The main reason is the different design. It is usually different from a normal tank that can have standing water in these two ways:

1）The top cover panel in the no-standing-water design is different from the side panels and bottom panel. In a normal top cover that can have standing water, the top cover panel is the same as the side and bottom panels.

2）The top edge is connected and fixed to the side panels in a different way. Also, a ring of angle iron is added to help fix and connect it.

So these two main reasons make the tank cost different. When customers choose a GRP water tank, they can choose based on the site conditions. In some places, it is not necessary to choose the no-standing-water type.
